Houseful | Summer Party, September 2024
We are privileged every year to create a Summer event for our long-standing client Houseful. This year we were given the opportunity to put our creative heads together and deliver a fully immersive afternoon-to-evening garden party event, with a Wonderland theme.
Using the gardens of Regents University, we brought in our team of suppliers and prop makers to transform the space.
To create a natural flow and a story-telling feel to the event, we hired actors to serve arrival drinks, lead guests through the party, introduce them to hidden areas and entertain them with improvised sketches as they found their way to a bespoke Mad Hatters Tea Party set.
We merged the top level catering from Regents Events with a selection of Street Food Traders and then added bespoke sweet treats from a local bakery who created themed desserts for guests to discover as they explored the site.
To gradually change the pace as evening fell, we handed out Silent Disco sets – pre-programmed with setlists curated by the client – which worked site-wide and created pops of energy as guests locked into shared channels.
A DJ and live saxophonist and bongo player lead the final 90 minutes, filling the dancefloor and topping of an exceptional day.
